There are many people who are still not completely clear about the differences between a latte, a cappuccino and a macchiato. And it is that its flavors and aromas are so delicious that very little time is left to dedicate it to the definition and meanings. However, today we have proposed to take a look at the differences between them.

What is a cappuccino?

It is a coffee drink, perhaps the most popular, it is prepared with equal parts of a shot of espresso, steamed milk and milk foam. The fact that each ingredient is proportional to the other, gives the cappuccino the magic of having an incredible flavor, a very creamy texture and rich and soft notes of aroma.

What is a Latte?

It is precisely a coffee with milk, literally. This type of coffee consists of adding a little steamed milk to the espresso coffee. There are some people who prefer it even with a light layer of milk foam and sugar. The difference with the cappuccino and the macchiato is that the latte has a much smoother flavor and a bit sweeter.

What is a macchiato?

Now, the macchiato has a preparation mode similar to that of cappuccino and latte. It consists of adding a little milk to an espresso. The difference? Much less milk is used here than in the other two coffees described, so the macchiato has a slightly stronger and more bitter taste, compared to the others.
